Abstract

Lernmanagementsysteme werden heutzutage für geschäftliche, private und schulische Zwecke eingesetzt, um den Fernunterricht zu verbessern und zu erleichtern. Gerade diese Lernplattformen waren von großer Bedeutung, als die Welt im Jahr 2020 von der Coronavirus-Pandemie betroffen war und der Unterricht online stattfinden musste. Google Classroom erwies sich als eine der besten Optionen, den Unterricht abzuhalten, aufgrund seiner Integration mit anderen Google-Tools und der Möglichkeit, eine große Menge an Unterrichtsmaterial an einem Ort zu speichern. Sogar nach der Umstellung auf Präsenzunterricht kann das LMS noch immer sehr nützlich sein.
Während in dieser Arbeit die Funktionen von Google Classroom untersucht wurden, fand auch eine Unterrichtsstunde statt, in der das Tool im Präsenzunterricht verwendet wurde. Die Schüler nahmen aktiv über ihre Mobilgeräte daran teil und füllten am Ende der Unterrichtsstunde einen Fragebogen zu ihren Eindrücken aus. Diese Eindrücke wurden mit Hilfe der App Google Formulare erfasst und in dieser Arbeit analysiert. Die Schüler reagierten positiv auf diese Unterrichtsform und äußerten den Wunsch, das Tool häufiger im Präsenzunterricht einzusetzen. Dies unterstreicht die Vielseitigkeit von Google Classroom und seine Anwendbarkeit sowohl im Fernunterricht als auch im traditionellen Präsenzunterricht.

Abstract (english)

Learning management systems are used nowadays for business, personal and educational purposes to improve and facilitate distance learning. These learning platforms in particular were of great importance when the world was affected by the Coronavirus pandemic in 2020, and classes had to take place online. Google Classroom proved to be one of the best options for conducting classes due to its integration with other Google tools and the ability to store a large amount of classroom material in one place. Even after switching to in-person teaching, the LMS can still be very useful.
While this work explored the features of Google Classroom, a classroom lesson was also conducted where the tool was used in traditional in-person teaching. Students actively participated via their mobile devices and completed a questionnaire regarding their impressions at the end of the lesson. These impressions were collected using the Google Forms app and analyzed in this work. The students responded positively to this form of teaching and expressed a desire to use the tool more frequently in traditional in-person classes. This highlights the versatility of Google Classroom and its applicability in both distance learning and traditional in-person teaching.
