Abstract

U radu se govori o sve bitnijoj i većoj ulozi školskoga knjižničara u odgojno-obrazovnoj integraciji učenika izbjeglica te o knjižnici kao mjestu koje ne dopušta izdvajanje, mržnju i netoleranciju. Iako prepoznat kao bitan faktor u teoriji, u praksi kompetencije, sposobnosti i znanja školskoga knjižničara teško dolaze do izražaja. U pokazivanju punog potencijala mogu pomoći i dobri odnosi s ostalim odgojno-obrazovnim osobljem koje također sudjeluje u odgojno-obrazovnoj integraciji učenika izbjeglica. Oni su prošli kroz razne nedaće i trebalo bi im se izaći u susret te približiti različite kulture kroz razne radionice za učenike, seminare i predavanja za roditelje i osoblje škole... Provedeno je istraživanje na malom uzorku školskih knjižničara koji rade u školama s učenicima izbjeglicama. Rezultati su pokazali da većina školskih knjižničara ipak nije dovoljno uključena u integraciju učenika izbjeglica te nisu imali prevelik kontakt s njima i njihovim roditeljima, nisu upoznati s radionicama, nisu pohađali stručno usavršavanje za rad s njima i ne uključuju ih u život škole. Kako bi se to promijenilo potrebno je osvijestiti postupke koji se u ovom slučaju ne izvode, a školski knjižničari trebali bi razumjeti da svojim radom mogu pozitivno utjecati na iskustvo učenika izbjeglica.

Abstract (english)

The paper deals with the increasingly important and increasing role of the school librarian in the educational integration of refugee students and the library as a place that does not allow separation, hatred and intolerance. Although recognized as an important factor in theory, in practice its competences, abilities and knowledge hardly come to the expression. Good relations with other educational staff who also participate in the educational integration of refugee students can also help in demonstrating their full potential. They have been through various adversities and different cultures should be brought closer through various workshops for students, seminars and lectures for parents and school staff... A study was conducted on a small sample of school librarians working in schools with refugee students. The results showed that most school librarians were not sufficiently involved in the integration of refugee students and did not have too much contact with them and their parents, were not familiar with the workshops, did not attend professional training to work with them and did not include them in the life of the school. In order to change this, it is necessary to raise awareness of the procedures that are not performed in this case, and school librarians should understand that their work can positively affect the experience of refugee students.
