Abstract

U ovom završnom radu predstaviti će se nematerijalna baština u Hrvatskoj kao vrlo bitan aspekt očuvanja i izgradnje kulturnih identiteta. U uvodnom dijelu ukratko će se iznijeti definicije kulturne baštine, njezina podjela te pojam kulturnog identiteta. Zatim će se obraditi ključni pojam završnog rada - nematerijalna baština pod kojom podrazumijevamo umijeća, znanja, tradicije, mitove, legende i izraze te socijalne funkcije iste, odnosno njen utjecaj na osjećaj pripadnosti određenoj grupi ili narodu. Obradit će se dokumenti kojima se definira i koji određuju načine njezine zaštite i očuvanja na različitim razinama (Republika Hrvatska, UNESCO). Drugi dio rada obradit će problematiku očuvanja nematerijalne baštine i njezinog korištenje u usporedbi s materijalnom baštinom, što će se ilustrirati konkretnim primjerima iz Hrvatske.

Abstract (english)

This final paper will present intangible cultural heritage in Croatia as a crucial aspect of preservation and construction of cultural identities. The introduction will briefly outline the definitions of cultural heritage, its classification, and the concept of cultural identity. Subsequently, the key concept of the paper will be addressed - intangible heritage, encompassing skills, knowledge, traditions, myths, legends, and expressions, as well as its social functions, particularly its impact on a sense of belonging to a certain group or nation. The documents that define and determine the ways of its protection and preservation at various levels (Republic of Croatia, UNESCO) will be discussed. The second part of the paper will address the issues of preserving intangible heritage and its utilization in comparison to tangible heritage, illustrated by specific examples from Croatia.
