Abstract

Mucanje je kompleksni govorni poremećaj koji se javlja kod oko 1 % svjetske populacije. Staro je koliko i ljudska civilizacija te se već stoljećima nastoji objasniti njegov uzrok. U prošlosti se smatralo da je mucanje posljedica poremećaja perifernih govornih organa, sredinom 20. stoljeća prevladavalo je mišljenje da nastaje pod utjecajem okolinskih faktora, a s nastavkom istraživanja i napretkom znanosti došlo se do novih spoznaja o neurobiološkim temeljima mucanja što je i središnji dio... More ovoga rada. Izložena su istraživanja čiji je cilj bio pronaći i objasniti razlike u mozgu osoba koje mucaju u odnosu na one koje nemaju taj poremećaj. Usto je predstavljen i presjek istraživanja obitelji, studije blizanaca i posvajanja te druga genetička istraživanja koja pružaju uvid u nasljedne i genske čimbenike koji imaju važnu ulogu u razvoju mucanja. Abstract (english)

Stuttering is a complex speech disorder that affects around 1% of the world's population. It is as old as human civilisation and attempts have been made for centuries to explain its cause. In the past it was thought to be the result of disorders of the peripheral speech organs, in the middle of the 20th century the belief that stuttering was caused by environmental factors prevailed, and as research continued and science advanced, new insights were gained into the neurobiological basis of... More stuttering, which is the central part of this work. Studies aimed at finding and explaining differences in the brain of stutterers compared to those without the disorder are presented. In addition, a review of family research, twin studies, adoption studies and other genetic research has also been summarised, providing insight into the hereditary and genetic factors that play an important role in the development of stuttering.
