Abstract

Cilj je ovoga rada teorijski istražiti aspekte (multi)senzorne komunikacije u muzejima kojima se utječe na senzorno iskutvo, a koji mogu biti neovisni od ili u kombinaciji s već tradicionalnim diskurzivnim komunikacijskim oblicima. U radu se obrađuju radovi na temu teorije i povijesti (multi)senzorne komunikacije te opisuju kognitivni procesi koji se odvijaju prilikom senzorne stimulacije. Elementi koji mogu utjecati na senzornu percepciju posjetitelja podrazumijevaju taktilnu, auditivnu, olfaktivnu, gustativnu i vizualnu komunikaciju, a primjena ovih elemenata razmotrena je s posebnim naglaskom na interaktivnost, inkluzivnost i didaktičnu ulogu koja je važan aspekt muzejskog posjeta. U radu se također obrađuju prednosti i ograničenja implementacije navedenih elemenata (multi)senzorne komunikacije te navesti mogućnosti budućih usmjerenja.

Abstract (english)

The aim of this thesis is to research the theoretical aspects of (multi)sensory communication in museums which affect one's sensory experience, and which can be independent of or in combination with the already traditional discursive forms of communication. The thesis addresses works in both theory and history of (multi)sensory communication, as well as all the cognitive processes which occur during sensory stimulation. The elements that affect the sensory perception of a museum visitor can be tactile, auditory, olfactory, gustatory and visual communication, and the implementation of these elements is reflected upon in this thesis, alongside a particular emphasis on interactivity, inclusivity, and its didactic role, which is an important aspect of the museum experience as a whole. Moreover, the thesis addresses the advantages and the limitations of implementing the aforementioned elements of (multi)sensory communication and list out the possibilities of their future endeavors.
