Abstract

U prvom djelu rada, unutar okvira andragogije i pedagogije slobodnog vremena, prikazani su pojmovi starosti, umirovljenja, slobodnog vremena te obrazovanja za slobodno vrijeme. U istraživačkom dijelu rada, na temelju provedenih intervjua, dobiven je uvid u slobodno vrijeme umirovljenica na selu. Provedenim istraživanjem dolazimo do rezultata koji potvrđuju dosadašnja saznanja iz andragogije i pedagogije slobodnog vremena, a to su da starije osobe ne promišljaju puno o slobodnom vremenu, bave se jednoličnim aktivnostima te od slobodnovremenskih aktivnosti najviše cijene druženje s drugim osobama. Kao najveću prepreku u bavljenju slobodnovremenskim aktivnostima navode zdravlje, ali također uviđaju i manjak ponude slobodnovremenskih aktivnosti u lokalnoj zajednici. Rezultati ukazuju na važnost obrazovanja za slobodno vrijeme te kvalitetne i sveobuhvatne skrbi za starije osobe.

Abstract (english)

In the first part of the paper, under the framework of andragogy and pedagogy of leisure, the concepts of age, retirement, leisure, and leisure education are introduced. In the research section of our study, based on conducted interviews, insights were gained into the leisure activities of retired women in rural areas. This research confirms earlier findings in andragogy and pedagogy of leisure. Specifically, older individuals tend not to dwell on leisure extensively; they often engage in repetitive activities. Among leisure activities, socializing with others is highly valued. Participants frequently mention health issues as the main barrier to participating in leisure activities, but they also note a lack of available leisure options in the local community. These results emphasize the importance of leisure education and comprehensive care for the elderly.
