Abstract
В работе предпринимается попытка объяснить, что такое двоеверие. Описываются время и обстоятельства, в которых двоеверие появилось. Потом, речь идёт реакции Церкви на явление двоеверия, как она относилась к нему. Затем, говорится о причинах сохранения двоеверных обычаев и мировоззрениях в народном сознании. И наконец, описывается наследие двоеверия в русской культуре и как оно повлияло на её развитие.
Abstract (english)
The work is attepting to explain and define the dual faith in ancient Rus'. Then, it is describing the reaction of the Russian Orthodox Church to the phenomenon. Furthermore, the text explains the ways of preservation of the dual faith and its customs in the worldview and concious of the common folk. Finally, the work describes the legacy of dual faith in russian culure and how it influenced its development.
