Abstract

Tema ovog preglednog rada je veza motoričkog razvoja i razvoja izgovora kod djece s oštećenjem sluha. Rad započinje opisivanjem urednog razvoja motorike kod djece, a nastavlja se opisivanjem tipičnog razvoja percepcije i proizvodnje govora. Ovaj dio je popraćen objašnjenjem specifičnosti s kojima se u tom kontekstu susreću djeca sa slušnim oštećenjem. Uloga motoričkih vještina, finih i grubih, sagledana je i sa jezične razine. Napravljen je pregled radova koji istražuju vezu jezika i motorike, odnosno jezičnih deficita i motorike. Kompleksna veza motorike i govora i jezika je potvrđena i dodatno naglašena isticanjem uloge gesti i pokreta u razvojnom putu. Uloga gesti i pokreta je također objašnjena i u vidu rehabilitacije, prvenstveno se opisuje Verbotonalna metoda rehabilitacije, ali se spominju i drugi pristupi koji koriste ritmički pokret. Na kraju rada nalaze se osnovne smjernice za rehabilitaciju s nekoliko primjera vježbi koje uključuju pokret i ritam.

Abstract (english)

The scope of this review paper is to explain the relationship between motor development and articulation development in children with hearing impairment. The paper begins by describing typical motor development in children, followed by an explanation of typical speech perception and production development. This section is accompanied by an explanation of the specific challenges faced by children with hearing impairments in this context. The role of motor skills, both fine and gross, is examined from a language development perspective, too. An overview of studies exploring the connection between language and motor skills, as well as language deficits and motor skills, is provided. The complex relationship between motor skills, speech and language is confirmed and further emphasized by highlighting the role of gestures and movements in the developmental pathway. The important role of gestures and movements is also reviewed in rehabilitation, primarily focusing on the Verbotonal method of rehabilitation, while also mentioning other approaches that incorporate rhythmic movement. The paper concludes with basic guidelines for rehabilitation, including several examples of exercises that involve movement and rhythm.
