Abstract
Aus einem Freizeitphänomen wurden Escape Rooms zu einer attraktiven Form modernen Unterrichts. Sie erfüllen alle Kriterien guten Unterrichts, die die zeitgenössische Literatur festlegt, dadurch dass durch ein pädagogisches Escape Room nicht nur sprachliches Handeln, sondern auch Soft Skills und kreatives Denken gefördert wird. In dieser Diplomarbeit gehe ich auf die zahlreichen, positiven Einflüsse der EduBreakouts auf den Lernprozess ein, aber es werden auch mögliche Schwierigkeiten bei der Vorbereitung und Durchführung thematisiert. Weiterhin stelle ich jeweils ein Beispiel eines Präsenz- und eines Onlinebreakouts vor. Abschließend werden die Ergebnisse der nach den Escape Rooms durchgeführten Umfragen ausgewertet.
Abstract (english)
From a leisure phenomenon, escape rooms have become an attractive form of modern teaching. They meet all the criteria of good teaching that contemporary literature defines, in that an educational escape room not only promotes linguistic action, but also soft skills and creative thinking. In this diploma thesis I go into the numerous positive influences of the EduBreakouts on the learning process, but possible difficulties in the preparation and implementation are also addressed. I also present an example of a face-to-face and an online breakout. Finally, the results of the surveys carried out after the escape rooms are evaluated.
