Abstract

Ovo istraživanje ispituje kako različiti studiji sociologije pripremaju studente za tržište rada i koje dodatne metode samostalne pripreme studenti koriste. Hrvatsku karakterizira visoka stopa nezaposlenosti, pri čemu su mladi posebno ranjiva skupina, te su studenti društvenih usmjerenja u lošijem položaju na tržištu rada za razliku od nekih drugih znanstvenih područja. Ovo istraživanje može pomoći u oblikovanju studijskih programa za poboljšanje nastavnih planova i programa i povećanje konkurentnosti studenata na njihovim fakultetima. Unutar rada provedeno je istraživanje na diplomiranim sociolozima i studentima sociologije završnih godina na 3 studija sociologije u Gradu Zagrebu – Filozofski fakultet, Fakultet hrvatskih studija i Hrvatsko katoličko sveučilište. Istraživanje je pokazalo kako na studijskim programima sociologije dominiraju teorijski kolegiji dok su metodološki zastupljeni u manje od petine kurikuluma. Naspram malom udjelu metodoloških kolegija sudionici najveći naglasak stavljaju upravo na metodološkim znanjima, čije poznavanje procjenjuje većim od teorijskih znanja i prenosivih vještina. Nadalje, metodološka znanja navode se kao najkorisnija na poslovima diplomiranih sociologa, te kao znanja koja nedostaju za obavljanje istih, a najčešće se i navode unutar akademskih kredencijala koje posjeduju. Abstract (english)

This research examines how different sociology studies prepare students for the labour market and what additional methods of independent preparation students use. Croatia is characterized by a high unemployment rate, with young people being a particularly vulnerable group, and social studies students in a worse position on the labour market than students in some other scientific fields. Education and the labour market are interconnected and should function as two interdependent... More systems, depending on the national strategies that shape them. This research can help design study programs to improve curricula and increase the competitiveness of students in their faculties. Within this paper, research was conducted on sociologist graduates and final year sociology students at 3 sociology studies in the City of Zagreb - Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Faculty of Croatian Studies, and The Catholic University of Croatia. The research showed that theoretical courses dominate sociology study programs, while methodological ones are represented in less than a fifth of the curriculum. In contrast to the small proportion of methodological courses, the participants place the greatest emphasis on methodological knowledge, which they estimate to be greater than their theoretical knowledge and transferable skills. Furthermore, methodological knowledge is cited as the most useful in the jobs of graduated sociologists and as the knowledge that is lacking for performing the same, and most often it is also cited within the academic credentials they possess.
