Abstract

Rad tematizira književnu i televizijsku artikulaciju povijesnog vremena od 1936. do kasnih 60-
ih 20. stoljeća u Kronici o našem malom mistu i Našem malom mistu. Tekstovi knjige i serije
promatrani su na tragu Bahtinove teze o dijalogiziranju prozne riječi s društvenim kontekstom
te su, po uzoru na kulturalne studije, iskorišteni kao sredstvo prezentacije cjelokupne kulture u
malom dalmatinskom mjestu u kojemu likovi progovaraju različitim govorima, čime se
simbolično obuhvaća područje... More čitave Dalmacije, pretežito tijekom socijalizma, ali i nekoliko
godina koje su prethodile njegovoj uspostavi. Iz kronološke analize dviju medijskih
prezentacija proizlazi da je riječ o kritičkom i ironičnom modusu artikulacije kapitalističkog,
zatim i socijalističkog sistema bivše Jugoslavije te politike uopće. Ideologijska previranja
popraćena su promjenama u načinu svakodnevnog života, ponašanja i osjećaja Malomišćana,
koje se očituju kroz poratnu nestašicu hrane, radne akcije, forsirani kulturološki napredak, prva
putovanja vlakom unutar zemlje ili automobilom van njezinih granica, zatim kroz materijalne
žudnje za hladnjakom, radijom, televizorom ili novom odjećom iz Trsta, kroz turistički boom
ili pak sveopći obiteljski ustroj. Promotrivši istu fabulu ispričanu u dvama različitim medijima,
uočena je prednost televizijskog predloška, kada je u pitanju dokumentacija povijesti, u vidu
vizualnih i akustičnih elemenata umjesto kojih književno djelo ostavlja prazine kakve će njegov
recipijent teško vjerodostojno nadopuniti ako i sam nije bio dijelom te povijesti. Less

Abstract (english)

The thesis deals with the literary and television articulation of the historical period between
1936 and the late 1960s in the novel "Kronika o našem malom mistu" and the television series
"Naše malo misto". Both plots were considered in the trail of Bakhtin's thesis about the dialog
between the prose word and the social context. Following the example of cultural studies, the
scripts were used as a means of representing the whole culture in a small Dalmatian town, where
the characters... More speak in different languages, which is simbolic for the whole region of Dalmatia,
especially during socialism, but also a few years before its establishment. Through a
cronological analysis of the events in both the novel and the television series, it is assumed that
the focus is not only on the critical and ironic examination of capitalism, but also of socialism
in the former Yugoslavia and politics in general. The ideological upheavals were accompanied
by changes in the way of life, behavior and feelings of the citizens, which manifested
themselves in the post-war food shortages, labor struggles, forced cultural progress, the first
trips by train within the country or by car across the borders, then in the material desires for a
refrigerator, a radio, TV or new clothes from Trieste, but also in the tourism boom or in the
general family structure. When considering the same plot told in two different media forms, the
advantage of the television series becomes apparent when it comes to documenting history in
the form of visual and acoustic elements, in place of which the literary work leaves gaps that
the literary recipient can hardly fill in a credible way unless he himself was part of that history. Less
