Abstract

Govorno-jezični razvoj djeteta proces je koji obilježavaju faze, odnosno miljokazi koji prate djetetovu dob. Te faze usvajanja jezika vrijede za sve jezike svijeta te kroz njih prolaze sva djeca urednog govorno-jezičnog razvoja. Mnogi lingvisti i psiholozi proučavali su govorno-jezični razvoj vlastite djece, te su bilježili specifične pojavnosti u njihovom govoru poput pojave prvih slogova, prvih riječi i sličnog. Na temelju takvih istraživanja nastali su miljokazi komunikacijskog i govorno-jezičnog razvoja koji nam danas pomažu uočiti odstupanja od urednog govorno-jezičnog razvoja. Rezultati do kojih su znanstvenici došli odraz su govorno-jezičnog razvoja većeg broja djece, no dakako da su postojala djeca kod koje su bila prisutna manja odstupanja. Govorno-jezični razvoj individualan je proces, stoga su manja odstupanja dopuštena. Primjerice, jedno dijete prvu će riječ izgovoriti s 12 mjeseci, dok će se kod drugog djeteta ona pojaviti u dobi od 15 mjeseci. Djeca jezik usvajaju najbrže u prve tri godine života, stoga je njegovo pravovremeno poticanje od velike važnosti. Najvažniju ulogu u poticanju djetetova govora ima njegova okolina, prvenstveno majka. Na kraju rada prikazano je nekoliko aktivnosti pomoću kojih roditelji i odgojitelji mogu poticati djetetov govor. Aktivnosti uključuju svakodnevne igre kroz razgovor i druženje, logoritmičke igre te vježbe za razvoj mikromotorike.

Abstract (english)

Speech and language development of a child is a process marked by phases, i.e. milestones that follow the child's age. These stages of language acquisition are valid for all languages of the world, and all children of orderly speech and language development go through them. Many linguists and psychologists have studied the speech and language development of their own children, and have recorded specific occurrences in their speech such as the appearance of the first syllables, the first words, and the like. On the basis of these studies, milestones of communication and speech-language development have arisen, which today help us to notice deviations from orderly speech and language development. The results obtained by the scientists are a reflection of the speech and language development of a larger number of children, but of course there were children with minor deviations. Speech and language development are an individual process, therefore minor deviations are allowed. For instance, one child will say the first word at 12 months, while another child will say it at 15 months of age. Children acquire language the fastest in the first three years of life, so its timely encouragement is of great importance. The most important role in encouraging a child's speech is played by his environment, primarily the mother. At the end of this paper, several activities are presented through which parents and educators can encourage the child's speech. Activities include daily games through conversation and socializing, logarithmic games and exercises to develop micromotor skills.
