Abstract

Tema ovog rada je usluživanje i prilagodba korisnicima s disleksijom u školskoj knjižnici. Prvi dio rada je teorijski, a sastoji se od opisa školske knjižnice te disleksije kao najpoznatije teškoće čitanja. Nakon toga je sve navedeno pojašnjeno u okviru knjižničnih služba i usluga za osobe s disleksijom. Izdvojene su i najpoznatije aktivnosti, kampanje i tehnologije osmišljene s ciljem unaprjeđenja kvalitete života osoba s teškoćom disleksije. Na kraju rada nalazi se praktični dio kojim se željelo dobiti uvid u stvarno stanje knjižničnih usluga za korisnike s disleksijom u školskim knjižnicama. Provedeno je istraživanje u kojem je sudjelovalo 25 osnovnoškolskih knjižnica s područja Varaždinske županije. Rezultati su pokazali kako je prilagodba školskih knjižnica korisnicima s disleksijom nedostatna unatoč tome što potreba za takvim oblikom prilagodbe postoji.

Abstract (english)

The main topic of this thesis is the service and adaptation of school libraries to its dyslexic users. The first part of the thesis is theoretical, consisting of a description of a school library and a definition of dyslexia as a well-known reading difficulty. Furthermore, all of the above has been explained in terms of library services to people with dyslexia. The most common activities, as well as campaigns and technologies designed to improve the quality of life of dyslexic people have also been listed. There is a practical part at the end of the thesis aimed at getting an insight into the actual state of school library services for dyslexic users. For the purposes of this thesis, 25 elementary school libraries from Varaždin County participated in a survey. The results have shown that the adaptation of school libraries to users with dyslexia is inadequate, despite the existing need for this type of adaptation.
