Abstract

Ovim radom istražuje se faktor neformalnog odgojno-obrazovnog okruženja, konkretnije obitelji na korištenje informacijsko komunikacijskih tehnologija te sukladno tome, mogućnost i poticaj razvoja informacijske pismenosti, način na koji djeca i mladi steču tehnološka znanja, koliko samostalno, koliko od strane roditelja ili tuđim utjecajem, dana sloboda i mogućnost korištenja tehnologije, izvori za pretraživanje informacija, svrhe korištenja tehnologije, dob posjedovanja prvog od nekih tehnoloških uređaja te utjecaj obitelji na poticanje samostalnog pretraživanja, baratanja i dijeljenja informacija. Provedenom online anketom ispitali su se i faktori koji mogu utjecati na istraživano područje, poput socioekonomskog statusa obitelji, stupnja obrazovanja roditelja, mogućnost korištenja tehnologije, informacijska pismenost članova obitelji i njihove sposobnosti korištenja informacijsko-komunikacijskom tehnologijom. Teorijskim okvirom predstavljen je koncept cjeloživotnog učenja i informacijske pismenosti, njihova povezanost s odgojno-obrazovnim sustavom te uloga informacijsko-komunikacijske tehnologije kao poveznice navedenih područja. Istraživanje je provedeno putem online anketnog upitnika među 112 ispitanika u dobi od 18 do 24 godine, metodom snježne grude.

Abstract (english)

This paper investigates the factor of informal educational environment, specifically families, on the use of information and communication technologies and, accordingly, the possibility and incentive of information literacy, the way in which children and young people acquire technological knowledge, be that independently, by parents or others. It also explores whether children are given freedom and opportunity to use technology, which sources for searching information they use, what are the main purposes of technology use, the age of owning the first technological device and the influence of family on encouraging independent search, handling and sharing of information. The online survey also examined the factors that may affect the research area, such as socioeconomic status of families, level of education of parents, ability to use technology, information literacy of family members and their ability to use information and communication technology. The theoretical framework presents the concept of lifelong learning and information literacy, their connection with the educational system and the role of information and communication technology as a link between these areas.
The research was conducted through an online questionnaire among 112 respondents aged 18 to 24, using the snowball method.
