Abstract

Ovaj rad se bavi temom žute boje u tradicijskom odijevanju na području župe Kravarsko, tj. njenom pojavom i funkcijom. Nakon definiranja povijesnog i geografskog područja, pristupilo se kratkom povijesnom prikazu nastanka i oblikovanja župe Kravarsko na koju se odnosi istraživanje. Zatim je na temelju literature prikazana uporaba i značenje žute boje u hrvatskoj tradicijskoj kulturi. Pregledalo se i prikazalo nošnje u žutoj boji, cjeline i pojedine dijelove te popratna dokumentacija u Etnografskom muzeju u Zagrebu i Muzeju Turopolja u Velikoj Gorici, kao i u zbirci nošnji Folklornog ansambla „Turopolje“. Istraživanje je dopunjeno terenskim istraživanjem i razgovorima s kazivačima. Potvrđeno je bojanje pamučnih niti ili domaćeg tkanja biljnim, ali i kupovnim bojama, te uporaba za svečane prigode poput velikih blagdana (Božić, Uskrs, Duhovi, proštenja – slavlja svetaca zaštitnika sela). Prikupljeni podatci upućuju da se tradicijsko ruho u žutoj boji, suprotno većini podataka, nosilo kao korizmeno ili žalobno ruho zabilježeno za područje Turopolja, a u župi Kravarsko u svečanim prigodama 1930-ih godina 20. stoljeća.

Abstract (english)

This paper deals with the topic of yellow color in traditional clothing in the area of the Kravarsko parish, i.e. its appearance and function. After defining the historical and geographical area, a brief historical overview of the origin and formation of the Kravarsko parish, to which the research relates, was approached. Then, based on the literature, the use and meaning of yellow in Croatian traditional culture is presented. Yellow folk costumes, wholes and individual parts and accompanying documentation in the Ethnographic Museum in Zagreb and the Turopolje Museum in Velika Gorica, as well as in the collection of costumes of the Folklore Ensemble "Turopolje", were reviewed and presented. The research was supplemented by field research and interviews with narrators. The dyeing of cotton threads or home weaving with vegetable and shopping dyes has been confirmed, as well as its use for festive occasions such as major holidays (Christmas, Easter, Pentecost, Proštenje - celebrations of the patron saints of the village). The collected data indicate that traditional clothing in yellow, contrary to most data, was worn as Lent or mourning clothing recorded for the Turopolje area, and in the parish of Kravarsko on ceremonial occasions in the 1930s.
