Abstract

Kulturna baština glavni je element kulturnog turizma, a način na koji je predstavljamo i
interpretiramo treba biti u fokusu interesa svih dionika kulturno turističkog tržišta. Kulturni
turist želi upoznati kulturu i identitet zajednice koju posjećuje, po mogućnosti na interaktivan
način koji će u njemu pobuditi emocije, potaknuti ga na sudjelovanje i na taj način mu utisnuti
sjećanje o viđenom i iskušanom. Predstavljeno je nekoliko primjera takvog pristupa
interpretaciji baštine u kulturnom turizmu: primjeri oživljene povijesti Istra Inspirita, primjer
interpretacijskog razgleda u Malinskoj te primjer Šetnje u Hlebinama u kojima kao
interpretator nastupa lokalna zajednica. Dato je još nekoliko primjera uspješne pripreme
lokaliteta za kulturni turizam. Nadležne institucije su do danas interpretaciji kulturne baštine
pristupale uglavnom na neosoban način kroz tiskovine, interpretacijske i posjetiteljske centre.
Osobno iskustvo i iskustvo mnogih kolega interpretatora ukazuju da su ljudi ti koji povezuju
posjetitelje s baštinom. U radu su predstavljeni primjeri osobne interpretacije koju vrše
najčešće turistički vodiči, a smatramo trebali bi uključivati i baštinske zajednice i druge stručne
i profesionalne dionike kulturnog turizma.

Abstract (english)

Cultural heritage is the main element of cultural tourism, and the way we present it and interpret
it should be in the focus of interest of all stakeholders in the cultural tourism market. A cultural
tourist wants to know the culture and identity of the community he is visiting, preferably in an
interactive way that will provoke his emotions, invite him to participate and thus imprint the
memory of what he saw and experienced. Several examples of such an approach to the
interpretation of heritage in cultural tourism are presented: examples of the "living history" of
Istra Inspirit, an example of an interpretive walk in Malinska and an example of a "Walk in
Hlebine" in which the local community acts as an interpreter. Several more examples of
successful site preparation for cultural tourism are given. To date, the official institutions have
approached the interpretation of cultural heritage mainly in an impersonal way through
publications, interpretation centers and visitor centers. Personal experience and the experience
of many colleagues interpreters indicate that a person is the one who connects visitors with
heritage. The paper presents examples of personal interpretation most often performed by
tourist guides. However, we believe that interpretation should include heritage communities
and other professional stakeholders in cultural tourism.
