Abstract

Ovim radom analizira se uloga i položaj žena u hinduizmu, kršćanstvu i islamu. Uzima se u obzir povijest svake religije, pretpostavke i uvjerenja o ženama te uloge i položaj žena u svakoj religiji. Kako bi analiza položaja žena u ovim religijama bila točnija i iscrpnija za primjer su uzete tri izrazito religiozne zemlje koje služe kao temelj za promatranje određene religije. Indija služi kao primjer hinduizma, za kršćanstvo je to Poljska, dok Saudijska Arabija predstavlja islam. U svakoj od zemalja promatran je razvoj prava žena, religijski utemeljeni običaji i tradicije te obrazovanje žena. Uz to, analiziran je i način na koji se svaka religija odnosi prema ženama, odnosno utemeljenost svakodnevnih običaja u svetim knjigama te kakve uloge žene imaju u braku i obitelji. Analiza rodne ravnopravnosti pokazala je njezinu važnost u svakom aspektu ljudskog života te je uočeno da je nužna za ostvarivanje mirnog i sigurnijeg društva. Osvrtom na značajnost religije u modernom društvu zaključilo se da za vjernike predstavlja ogroman oslonac u životnim nedaćama, označava moralni okvir za svakodnevicu te da služi kao most u izgradnji međusobnih odnosa u nekoj zajednici.

Abstract (english)

This paper analyzes the role and position of women in hinduism, christianity and islam. The history of each religion, assumptions and beliefs about women, and the role and position of women in each religion are taken into account. In order to make the analysis of the position of women in these religions more accurate and comprehensive, three distinctly religious countries have been taken as an example, which serve as a basis for observing a particular religion. India serves as an example of hinduism, for christianity it is Poland, while Saudi Arabia represents islam. In each of these countries, the development of women's rights, religiously based customs and traditions and women's education were observed. In addition, the way in which each religion treats women is analyzed, that is the foundation of everyday customs in the holy books and what roles women have in marriage and family. The analysis of gender equality has shown its importance in every aspect of human life and it has been noticed that it is necessary for the realization of a peaceful and safer society. Looking at the importance of religion in modern society, it was concluded that for believers it is a huge support in life's adversities, marks a moral framework for everyday life and serves as a bridge in building relationships in a community.
