Abstract

Ovaj rad bavit će utjecajem društvenih mreža kao primjera modernih medija na stanje koje je
Baudrillard nazvao hiperrealnost, odnosno kako ovakvi mediji slijede i pojačavaju logiku
hiperrealnosti i simulacije. Također promatrat će se promjene u shvaćanju pojma obrazovanja
koje se odvijaju logikom postmoderne. Pojam obrazovanja koji je centralan u pedagogijskoj
znanosti, ali i centralan u životu osobe, doživljava zaokret prema ekonomiji temeljenoj na
znanju i produkciji radnika i udaljava se od obrazovanja shvaćenog kao aktivnosti koja nas
mijenja iznutra. Kao primjer modernih medija navest ću društvene mreže „Instagram“ i
„TikTok“ koje pojačavaju i svojom popularnošću usmjeravaju daljnje promjene u ljudskoj
svijesti i znanju te nas približavaju sferi hiperrealnog. Pojam hiperrealnog bit će objašnjen
kroz Baudrillardov simulakrum i simulaciju te Debordovo „društvo spektakla“ i prikazan na
primjeru dvije ranije navedene društvene mreže. Na kraju društvene mreže i mediji bit će
kritički sagledani uz prijedlog za djelovanje i promišljanje ovog problema kao što je analiza
diskursa. Ona nam omogućava da na njih gledamo kao igre sa svojim pravilima. Ukoliko
pravila upoznamo i kritički sagledamo, možemo tvoriti nove, prihvatljivije diskurse. Ovaj rad
naglašava važnost pedagogije kao znanosti transformacije koja nam je sve više potrebna u
nošenju sa novim izazovima današnjice, a problem masovnih medija i promjene koje nam
donose vrijedan je promišljanja.

Abstract (english)

This paper will deal with the influence of social networks as examples of modern media on the
state that Baudrillard called hyperreality, that is, how such media follow and reinforce the logic
of hyperreality and simulation. Changes in the understanding of the concept of education that
take place by the logic of the postmodern will also be observed. The notion of education, which
is central in pedagogical science, but also central in a person's life, experiences a turn towards
an economy based on the knowledge and production of workers and moves away from
education understood as an activity that changes us from within. As an example of modern
media, I will mention the social networks "Instagram" and "TikTok", which amplify and with
their popularity direct further changes in human consciousness and knowledge and bring us
closer to the realm of the hyperreal. The notion of the hyperreal will be explained through
Baudrillard's simulacrum and simulation and Debord's "society of the spectacle" and presented
on the example of the two previously mentioned social networks. Eventually social networks
and the media will be critically examined along with a proposal for action and reflection on
this issue such as discourse analysis. It allows us to look at social media as games with their
own rules. If we get to know the rules and look at them critically, we can create new, more
acceptable discourses. This paper emphasizes the importance of pedagogy as a science of
transformation that we increasingly need in dealing with the new challenges of today, and the
problem of mass media and the changes they bring to us is worth considering.
