Abstract

Ovaj rad bavi se pripovijedanjem i identitetom kao jednim od iznimno važnih tema za književnost. U prvom se dijelu iznosi uvod u pojmove pripovijedanja i identiteta u kojem su opisani neke od suvremenih teorija. Zatim se rad bavi teorijama Hanne Arendt, Paula Ricoeura, Adriane Cavarero i Julije Kristeve koje povezuju identitet i pripovijedanje. Arendt pojam identiteta veže uz drugost koja ga konstituira i omogućava mu političko i etičko djelovanje u zajedničkom prostoru. Paul Ricoeur uvodi problem narativnog identiteta, što podrazumijeva da se pojam identiteta uključuje u vremenski tijek. U njemu su moguće promjene identiteta te je potrebno uvesti sigurnosne mehanizme koji će posvjedočiti da se identitet u jednoj osobi očuvao. Adriana Cavarero ističe važnost pripovijedanja nečije priče upravo od strane drugoga. Priča subjekta može biti posvjedočena jedino od strane drugoga. Drugo čitanje Hanne Arendt nudi Julia Kristeva koja ideje drugosti i identiteta promatra u okviru političke i etičke zajednice u kojoj subjekt nastaje.
U drugom dijelu rada iznosi se čitanje četriju romana Daše Drndić (Leica format, Sonennschein, Belladonna i EEG). U tim je romanima pitanje identiteta koji se oblikuje pripovijedanjem temeljni problem koji se obrađuje pripovjednim tehnikama kao što je pripovjedačevo uskraćivanje podataka koje zna ili davanje pogrešnih podataka. Također, u romanima je vrlo česta tema gubljenja i zadobivanja novog identiteta koja omogućava pripovijedanje o njima i oblikovanje pripovjedača kao drugoga koji je potreban subjektu. Konačno, pokazat će se kako se pitanje fluidnog i nestabilnog identiteta može najjasnije prikazati u književnom tekstu prema kojem i nastaju teorijska razmatranja pitanja pripovijedanja i identiteta.

Abstract (english)

This paper deals with narration and identity as one of the exceptionally important themes for literature. The first part presents an introduction to the notions of narration and identity described by contemporary theories. The paper deals with the ideas of Hannah Arendt, Paul Ricoeur, Adriana Cavarero, and Julia Kristeva that connect identity and narration. Arendt links the notion of identity with otherness that constitutes it and enables its political and ethical action. Ricoeur introduces the problem of narrative identity that implies that the idea of identity enters the time course. In it, changes of identity are possible, and it requires safety mechanisms that will witness the preservation of one's identity. Cavarero points the importance of narration of one's stories by the other. The life story of a subject can be attested only by another. Another reading of Arendt's work offers Kristeva who observes notions of otherness and identity in the framework of political and ethical community in which the subject arises. The second part of the paper analyzes the reading of four novels by Daša Drndić (Leica format, Sonennschein, Belladonna, EEG). In these novels, the question of identity that is formed by narration is a fundamental problem that is processed with narrative techniques such as the narrator's omission of facts he knows or giving false facts intentionally. Also, in novels, it is very common for characters and narrators to lose their identity and acquire a new one which enables narration about them and the construction of the narrator as the other who is required to subject. At last, it will be shown how the question of fluid and unstable identity can most clearly be represented in the literary text according to which theoretical questions of narration and identity arise.
