Abstract

Radom se analiziraju predaje doline Neretve. Svrha je rada prikupiti i analizirati pripovjedački repertoar predaja neretvanskoga kraja, s posebnim naglaskom na demonološke ili mitske predaje. Taj je korpus novozapisanih predaja uspoređen s rukopisnim zbirkama drugih istraživača. Građa se prikupljala vlastitim terenskim istraživanjem u neretvanskome kraju tijekom ljeta 2020. te proljeća i ljeta 2021. godine. Terensko istraživanje uključuje metode polustrukturiranog i slobodnog intervjua te transkripciju i klasifikaciju građe. Ciljevi su rada: utvrditi zastupljenost predaja, posebno demonoloških/mitskih u usmenoknjiževnom korpusu doline Neretve te analizirati njihove motive, strukturu i obilježja te odnos kazivača prema predajnom repertoaru. Osim analize i interpretacije prikupljenih predaja, rad donosi i detaljniji prikaz procesa istraživanja. Na početku su se rada predstavile važnije studije (između ostalih Bošković-Stulli, Rudan, Marks) koje su predaje analizirale iz žanrovskoga aspekta. Radom se usporedilo i zaključilo da se predajni repertoar mlađih kazivača ne razlikuje u velikoj mjeri od repertoara starijih, osim u kazivanjima o vilama i vukodlacima. Najviše je prikupljeno demonoloških predaja i to onih koje tematiziraju vještice, a najmanje povijesnih. Uočava se važnost kletve u predajama. Istraživanjem su prikupljene i predaje o kralju Norinu i džinskoj vojsci karakteristične samo za dolinu Neretve. Rad potvrđuje produktivnost žanra u promatranoj zajednici, a njihova objašnjavateljska uloga, jedinstvenost i nefiksiranost oblika omogućuje im opstanak i prenošenje.

Abstract (english)

The thesis analyzes the legends of Neretva Valley. The purpose of this thesis is to collect and analyze the narrative repertoire of legends of Neretva area, with special emphasis on demonological or mythical legends. This corpus of newly recorded legends has been compared with the manuscript collections of other researchers. The material was collected through our own field research in the Neretva area during the summer of 2020 and in the spring and summer of 2021. Field research includes methods of semi-structured and free interview, as well as transcription and classification of material. The aims of the paper are: to determine the representation of legends, especially demonological / mythical ones in the oral literature corpus of Neretva Valley and to analyze their motives, structure and characteristics as well as the relation of narrators to the legend repertoire. In addition to the analysis and interpretation of the collected legends, the thesis provides a more detailed overview of the research process. At the beginning of the thesis, more important studies (among others Bošković-Stulli, Rudan, Marks) were presented, which analyzed the legends from the genre aspect. The thesis compared and concluded that the legend repertoire of the younger narrators did not differ greatly from the repertoire of the older ones, except in the narrations of fairies and werewolves. The most collected demonological legends are those that deal with witches, and the least are historical ones. The importance of the curse in legends is noticed. The research also collected legends about Norin king and džinska vojska which are characteristic only for Neretva valley. The thesis confirms the productivity of the genre in the observed community, and their explanatory role, uniqueness and flexibility of form allows them to survive and transmit.
