Abstract

Rad polazi od ideje mogućnosti i vrijednosti uključivanja audiovizualnih sredstava, u užem smislu filmova i serija, u nastavu Sociologije u srednjim školama. Polazeći od kratkog osvrta na vizualnu sociologiju te nužnosti fikcije, pripovijedanja i umjetnosti općenito u procesima obrazovanja, rad se usredotočuje na važnost pedagoške dimenzije audiovizualnog u nastavi te donosi pregled metodičke literature koja se bavi upotrebom filma i serije u nastavi. Upotreba audiovizualnog kombinira se i s drugim tehnikama i metodama važnim za usvajanje sociološkog gradiva, ali i za razvoj sociološke imaginacije i mišljenja višeg reda u učenika. Na kraju se rada nude tri potencijalna modela nastavnog sata vezanog uz nastavnu cjelinu Društvene nejednakosti i stratifikacija na temelju razrade pedagoškog potencijala epizode Nosedive serije Black Mirror.

Abstract (english)

The paper arises from the idea of the possibility and value of including audio-visual means, more specifically, films and series, in teaching Sociology in secondary schools. Starting with a brief review of visual sociology and the necessity of fiction, storytelling, and art in general in educational processes, the paper focuses on the importance of the pedagogical dimension of the audio-visual in teaching and provides an overview of methodological literature dealing with the use of film and series in teaching. The use of the audio-visual is combined with other techniques and methods important for the acquisition of sociological material, but also for the development of sociological imagination and higher order thinking in students. At the end of the paper, three potential models of the lesson related to the teaching unit Social Inequalities and Stratification are offered based on the elaboration of the pedagogical potential of the Nosedive episode from the series Black Mirror.
