Abstract

Cilj ovog istraživanja bio je identificirati kompetencije koje su potrebne pedagogu za rad u umjetničkim školama. Nastojali smo ispitati ulogu studija pedagogije i stručnih usavršavanja u stjecanju kompetencija i istražiti koji su poslovi pedagoga u umjetničkim školama. Rad je podijeljen u dva dijela. Prvi dio analizira teorijske radove i normativne dokumente, a drugi dio je empirijski. U ovom radu koristili smo se kvalitativnom metodologijom. Istraživanjem su dobivene brojne kompetencije potrebne za rad pedagoga u umjetničkoj školi, ali i školama općenito. Isto tako, rezultati su pokazali da stručno usavršavanje, samobrazovanje, refleksija i iskustvo imaju veću ulogu u stjecanju kompetencija, nego studij pedagogije. Dobiveni rezultati uputili su nas prema potrebama i važnostima pedagoga za taj specifični tip ustanove.

Abstract (english)

Purpose of this research was to identify competencies needed to a pedagogue for work in art schools. Our intention was to question and understand role of initial education of pedagogy and subjects of interest in gaining competencies as well as find out what are responsibilities of pedagogue in art schools. First part analysies theoretical reflections and normativ documents, while the secon one does empirical work. In this paper we used qualitative methodology. The results of the reaserch show many competencies, not only necessary for pedagogue everyday work in art schools, but also for all schools in general. Apart from the above, we show that structured education, self-education, reflexion and pure experience play for greater role in achieving competencies than faculty of pedagogy itself. Results we've got gave us understanding of real life needs and importance of the pedagogue for that specific type of institution.
