Abstract

Ovomu je radu cilj bio proučiti koje su i kakve istoslovnice među najčešćim hrvatskim leksičkim homonimima. Prvi je korak bio izdvajanje istoslovnica iz popisa homonima iz Čestotnika i odabranoga korpusa udžbenika, rječnika i skripte (Šafarić, 2007). Prikupljene su istoslovnice potom pobrojene, određena im je vrsta riječi (i rod) i prozodijska obilježja te im je kratko opisano značenje. Istoslovnice su podijeljene u pet vrsta – one koje se razlikuju po 1) znaku pokraj sebe (točki, crtici ili broju u eksponentu), 2) velikome ili malome (početnome) slovu, 3) označenim prozodijskim obilježjima u pismu, 4) sastavljenome ili rastavljenome pisanju te po tome jesu li 5) kratice (bez velikoga slova i znaka) i pokrate. Svaka je vrsta analizirana po svojim prozodijskim obilježjima i vrsti riječi, a katkada i broju slova ili slogova. Istraživanjem je otkrivena raznolikost i rubnost pojedinih podvrsta ove već rubne vrste homonima (istoslovnica). Najraznolikija je i najbrojnija druga vrsta istoslovnica – one koje se razlikuju po velikome i malome slovu. Abstract (english)

The aim of this paper was to study which and what kind of homogrammes are the most common ones among Croatian lexical homonyms. The first step was to extract homogrammes from the list of homonyms found in Čestotnik and the corpus of textbooks and dictionaries (Ines Šafarić, 2007). The extracted homogrammes were then counted, their part of speech (and gender) and prosodic features were determined, and their meaning briefly described. A short overview of the theoretical... More considerations of linguists on the topic of homonymy was compiled and the most transparent way of approaching was chosen. The homogrammes were separated into five categories – the one that differ in 1) the sign next to it (a dot, dash or number in the exponent), 2) uppercase or lowercase (initial) letter, 3) marked prosodic features in writing, 4) composed or disjointed writing, and by whether they are 5) abbreviations. Each category was analyzed based on its prosodic features and its part of speech, and sometimes based on the number of letters or syllables. The research revealed the diversity and marginality of certain subtypes of this already marginal type of homonyms (homogramme). The most diverse and most numerous is the second type of homogrammes - those that differ in uppercase and lowercase letters.
