Abstract

Tehnologija agenata za konverzaciju (eng. conversational agent, chatbot) je značajno napredovala, a danas ih možemo vidjeti u raznolikoj primjeni. U radu su predstavljeni agenti za konverzaciju, kroz povijesni razvoj, analizu platformi za razvoj, prikaz upotrebe u različitim domenama i analizu tehnologije. Napravljena je podjela agenata za konverzaciju, definirane su karakteristike i razlike između agenata za razgovor temeljenih na pravilima i temeljenim na postupcima strojnog učenja unutar područja umjetne inteligencije. Analizirani su kriteriji za evaluaciju, pri čemu je objašnjen značaj Turingovog testa. Prikazane su mogućnosti primjene agenata za konverzaciju u odabranim domenama, objašnjene su njihove karakteristike, kao i potrebe unutar same domene. U praktičnom dijelu rada istraženi su resursi za njihovu izradu i analizirane su njihove mogućnosti te je provedena samostalna izrada agenta za konverzaciju unutar zadanog područja uz analizu prednosti i nedostataka.

Abstract (english)

The technology of conversational agents (chatbot) has advanced significantly, and today we can see them in a variety of applications. The paper briefly presents the conversational agents, through historical development, analysis of development platforms, presentation of use in different domains, and analysis of technology. A broad division of conversational agents was made, and the characteristics and differences between rule-based and deep learning agents within artificial intelligence were defined. The evaluation criteria were analyzed, and the significance of the Turing test was explained. The possibilities of applying conversational agents in selected domains are presented, their characteristics are explained, as well as the needs within the domain itself. In the practical part of the paper, the resources for their development were explored and their possibilities were analyzed and the independent development of chatbots within the given area was carried out, with an analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of using conversational agents. The paper presents an overview of the development of this interdisciplinary field.
