Abstract

U proteklih nekoliko desetljeća, intenzivirala su se istraživanja efikasnosti različitih modaliteta psihoterapije u svrhu razumijevanja uspješnosti tretmana različitih psihičkih problema. U ovom radu, sustavnim pretraživanjem baza podataka analizirani su suvremeni kvalitativni i kvantitativni znanstveni i stručni radovi u kojima je prikazana uloga i važnost terapijskog odnosa za ishod psihoterapije. Pažnja je posvećena i teorijskim osnovama terapijskog odnosa kognitivno-bihevioralnog, humanističkog i psihodinamskog pristupa psihoterapiji. Rezultati su pokazali veliko slaganje različitih psihoterapijskih pravaca u tome da je terapijski odnos ključan za uspješnost psihoterapije. Drugim riječima, pokazalo se da terapijski odnos utječe na ishode psihoterapije, uključujući i potičući klijentove te terapeutove fiziološke i psihološke aspekte funkcioniranja.

Abstract (english)

Over the past few decades, research on the effectiveness of various psychotherapy modalities has been intesified in order to understand the success of treatment of various psychological problems. In this paper, databases of contemporary research papers that explore the role and importance of therapeutic relationship for the psychotherapy outcome are analyzed. Also, attention is given to the theoretical basis of the therapeutic relationship in cognitive-behavioral, humanistic and psychodynamic approach to psychotherapy. The results show agreement between various psychotherapy modalities in that the therapeutic relationship is crucial to the success of psychotherapy. In other words, it is shown that the therapeutic relationship affects the outcomes of psychotherapy, including encouraging clients' and therapists' physiological and psychological aspects of functioning.
