Abstract

Ovaj diplomski rad bavi se analizom slabih država i njihovim utjecajem na međunarodnu sigurnost, s posebnim naglaskom na mehanizme koji dovode do državnog kolapsa i posljedice koje takve države imaju na globalnu stabilnost. U radu su istraženi ključni faktori koji uzrokuju propadanje država te je evaluirana učinkovitost međunarodnih strategija, poput procesa izgradnje države ("state-building"). Abstract (english)

This thesis analyzes weak states and their impact on international security, with a focus on the mechanisms leading to state collapse and the consequences such states have on global stability. The study examines the key factors causing state failure and evaluates the effectiveness of international strategies such as state-building processes. The Fragile States Index (FSI) was used to assess state weaknesses, with a special focus on Croatia’s position in relation to these indicators....
