Abstract

Diplomski rad analizira kako foxy boxing nastavlja tradiciju seksiza kroz objektivizaciju sportašica u svrhu zabave. Rad istražuje kulturne norme i medijske prikaze koji održavaju rodnu neravnopravnost, fokusirajući se na seksualizaciju žena umjesto njihovih sportskih sposobnosti. Kroz intervjue, rad ukazuje na fizičke i emocionalne posljedice za sudionice.

Abstract (english)

This master thesis analyzes how foxy boxing continues the tradition of sexism through the objectification of female athletes for the purpose of entertainment. The paper explores the cultural norms and media portrayals that perpetuate gender inequality, focusing on the sexualization of women instead of their athletic abilities. Through the interview, the work indicates the physical and emotional consequences for the participants.
