Abstract

U današnjem digitalnom dobu, količina podataka koja se svakodnevno generira i prikuplja eksponencijalno raste, usmjeravajući razvoj tehnologija prema novim tehnikama za učinkovitom integracijom podataka te daljnjom manipulacijom. Ovaj završni rad istražuje proces te metode integracije podataka u razvojnom okruženju Jupyter Notebooku koristeći programski jezik Python, kao i prateće Python biblioteke u svrhu izrade rudimentarne baze podataka. Također se definira Jupyter Notebook, njegove funkcionalnosti te različite biblioteke koje se mogu koristiti unutar njega. Kroz sustavni pregled različitih alata za integraciju podataka, ovaj rad pruža dublji uvid u njihovu praktičnu primjenu. Dodatno, koristeći Python biblioteke istražuje se kako Jupyter Notebook omogućuje interaktivnost u svrhu brze i efikasne manipulacije podataka kao i njihove kasnije vizualizacije što olakšava analizu i interpretaciju podataka.

Abstract (english)

In today’s digital age, the amount of data that is generated and collected every day is growing exponentially, directing the development of technologies towards new techniques for efficient data integration and further manipulation. This bachelor thesis examines the process and methods of data integration in the Jupyter Notebook development environment using the programming language Python, as well as the accompanying Python libraries for the purpose of creating a rudimentary database. It also defines the Jupyter Notebook, its functionalities and the various libraries that can be used within it. Through a systematic review of various tools for data integration, this thesis provides a deeper insight into their practical application. Additionally, using Python libraries, it is investigated how Jupyter Notebook enables interactivity for the purpose of fast and efficient data manipulation as well as their later visualization, which facilitates data analysis and interpretation.
