Abstract

U ovom se istraživanju vokalski prostor ženskih ispitanika uspoređivao sa standardnim (normativnim) vrijednostima koje navodi Bakran (1996) za odrasle ženske govornike. Govor deset tipičnih ispitanica akustički se analizirao pomoću programa Praat, a za vrijeme snimanja ispitanice su nosile umjetno nepce. Analizirani govorni materijal sastojao se od dvosložnih riječi, konstrukcije KVKV gdje se analizirao prvi, naglašeni vokal. Vokali koji su analizirani bili su rubni hrvatski vokali /i/, /a/ te /u/. Rezultati akustičke analize pokazali su da iako postoje razlike između formantnih vrijednosti ispitanica i standardnih vrijednosti, vokalski trapezi slični su standardnom vokalskom trapezu. Drugim riječima, ispitanice su, bez obzira na umjetno nepce, uspjele kompenzirati utjecaj umjetnog nepca na izgovor te su se približile prirodnom izgovoru.

Abstract (english)

In this research, the vowel space of female speakers was compared with the standard (normative) values stated by Bakran (1996) for adult female speakers. The speech of ten female speakers was acoustically analyzed using the Praat program, and during the recording the speakers wore an artificial palate. The analyzed speech material consisted of two-syllable words, construction KVKV where the first, stressed vowel was analyzed. The vowels that were analyzed were the three corner Croatian vowels /i/, /a/ and /u/. The results of the acoustic analysis showed that although there are differences between the formant values of the speakers and the standard values, the vowel spaces are similar to the standard vowel space. In other words, regardless of the artificial palate, the speakers were able to compensate the influence of the artificial palate on pronunciation and came closer to typical pronunciation.
