Abstract

U razdoblju Hladnog rata dolazi do velikih promjena na međunarodnoj sceni. Procesom dekolonizacije nastanje niz novih država kojima je bio potreban školovan kadar. U nedostatku vlastitih obrazovnih ustanova ili nedovoljno razvijenih postojećih ustanova, zemlje Trećeg svijeta šalju svoje mlade na inozemna sveučilišta. Osnivanjem Pokreta nesvrstanih 1961.godine u Jugoslaviju počinje dolaziti veći broj studenata iz zemalja članica Pokreta. Diplomski rad istražuje život studenata iz nesvrstanih zemalja u Zagrebu u 1960-ima.

Abstract (english)

During the period of the Cold War, major changes took place on the international scene. The process of decolonization led to the creation of a number of new states that needed an educated staff. In the absence of their own educational institutions or insufficiently developed existing institutions, Third World countries were sending their young people to foreign universities. With the founding of the Non-Aligned Movement in 1961, even a larger number of students from the Movement's member countries began to come to Yugoslavia. This Master's Thesis researches the life of students from Non-Aligned countries in Zagreb in the 1960s.
