Abstract

Podcasti su u današnje vrijeme vrlo popularna forma internet komunikacije i nova forma dolaženja do informacija koje mogu potaknuti pojedince i širu zajednicu na razmišljanje o aktualnim fenomenima i problemima te potaknuti na rasprave o tim fenomenima. Također mogu poslužiti u svrhu opuštanja i zabave. Ovaj rad nastoji ocrtati glavne značajke podcasta, predstaviti povijest nastanka podcasta te analizirati najpopularnije i najslušanije podcaste u Hrvatskoj i svijetu. Za analiziranje najslušanijih podcasta koristiti će se dvije platforme: Youtube i Spotify. Za analizu podcasta u svijetu odabrano je 5 poznatih podcasta: „The Joe Rogan Experince“, „The Daily“, „The Huberman Lab Podcast“, „Scammanda“ i „SmartLess“. Za analizu podcasta na hrvatskoj sceni odabrani su sljedeći: „Podcast Inkubator“, „Surove Strasti“, „Netokracija Podcast“, „Human Lab Podcast“ te „Bliski susreti jezične vrste“.

Abstract (english)

Nowadays podcasts are very popular form of internet communication and new form of gathering information which can encourage individuals and society to think about current phenomena and problems and also encourage discussions about these phenomena. They can be used for entertainment purposes and relaxation. This thesis seeks to outline the main characteristics of podcasts, to present the history of podcast and analyze the most popular and most listened to podcast sin Croatia and the world. Two platforms will be used to analyze podcasts: Youtube and Spotify. 5 well-known podcasts were selected for the analysis of popular podcasts in the world: „The Joe Rogan Experince“, „The Daily“, „ The Huberman Lab Podcast“, „Scammanda“ and „SmartLess“. For the analysis of podcasts on the Croatian scene, the following podcasts were selected: „Podcast Inkubator“, „Surove Strasti“, „Netokracija Podcast“, „Human Lab Podcast“ and „Bliski susreti jezične vrste“.
