Abstract

Brojni korisnici interneta nisu svjesni ulaganja u sigurnost računalne infrastrukture i poslužitelja na koji se svakodnevno spajaju. Većinu poslužitelja pokreće operacijski sustav Linux, razvijen od strane Linusa Torvaldsa 1991. godine, koji je od tada postao treći najkorišteniji operacijski sustav na računalima, a budući da je na njemu temeljen Android, prvi na mobilnim uređajima. Ovaj rad će sagledati Linux iz sigurnosne perspektive korisnika, ali i administratora, odnosno pružatelja nekog... More servisa i usporediti sigurnosne značajke spomenutog sustava s ostalim vodećim operacijskim sustavima. Također, istražit će se kako Linux upravlja korisnicima, njihovim računima i ovlastima, kao i njegovo upravljanje datotekama i načinu na koji su prikazane korisniku. Postoje razne distribucije Linuxa koje su više fokusirane na sigurnost i etičko probijanje zaštite, a jedna od njih je i Kali Linux, koji će se u radu detaljnije analizirati. Less

Abstract (english)

Many internet users are unaware of investments in the security of computer infrastructure and servers on which they connect daily. Most servers run on the operating system Linux, developed by Linus Torvalds in 1991. Since then, it has become the most used operating system on personal computers, and since Android is based on it, it is the first on mobile phones. This paper will look at Linux from a security perspective of the user and administrator or provider of some services and compare... More the system's security features with other leading operating systems. In addition, it will look into how Linux manages users, their accounts and permissions, its control of data, and how they are being presented to the user. Various distributions of Linux are more focused on security and ethical hacking. One of them is called Kali Linux, which this work will analyze in more detail. Less
