Abstract

Ovaj se diplomski rad bavi povezanošću neformalnih aktivnosti i jezičnog znanja u usvajanju češkog jezika kod hrvatskih studenata. Rad je podijeljen u dva dijela. Prvi dio rada je teorijski, a započinje pregledom jednostavnih i složenih jezičnih djelatnosti. Slijedi kratak teorijski uvod u istraživanje dvojezičnosti i višejezičnosti te pregled pojmova koji se neizostavno uz njih vežu – materinski jezik, prvi, drugi, treći jezik i strani jezik. Zatim je detaljno predstavljen odnos učenja i usvajanja jezika, odnosno njihove sličnosti i razlike. Teorijski dio rada završava pregledom literature o prijašnjim istraživanjima koja su se bavila ovom tematikom. Drugi je dio rada istraživački, a temelji se na rezultatima anketnog upitnika provedenog među hrvatskim studentima češkog jezika. On započinje predstavljanjem metodologije istraživanja, instrumenata istraživanja, uzorka na kojem je istraživanje provedeno te postupka istraživanja. Zatim slijede rezultati pojedinih dijelova anketnog upitnika. Istraživački dio rada završava interpretacijom dobivenih rezultata, a zatim slijedi zaključak te pregled literature.

Abstract (english)

The topic of this thesis is the relationship between informal activities and language proficiency in the acquisition of the Czech language by Croatian students. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part of the thesis is theoretical, and begins with an overview of simple and complex language skills. Then a short theoretical introduction to bilingualism and multilingualism is given, as well as an overview of the terms that are inevitably associated with them – mother tongue, first, second, third language and foreign language. After that, the relationship between language learning and acquisition, i.e. their similarities and differences, is presented in detail. The theoretical part of the paper ends with an overlook of the literature on previous research related to the topic. The second part of the thesis includes research based on the results of a questionnaire conducted among Croatian students of the Czech language. In the second part of the paper, first, the research methodology is presented, then the research instruments, the sample on which the research was conducted, and the research procedure. Then follow the results of individual parts of the survey questionnaire. The research part of the work ends with the interpretation of the obtained results, followed by the conclusion and literature overview.

Abstract (czech)

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá souvislosti neformálních aktivit a jazykové způsobilosti v osvojování českého jazyka chorvatskými studenty. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. První část příspěvku je teoretická a začíná přehledem jednoduchých a složitých jazykových dovedností. Následuje krátký teoretický úvod do dvojjazyčnosti a mnohojazyčnosti a přehled pojmů, které jsou s nimi nevyhnutelně spojeny – mateřský jazyk, první, druhý, třetí a cizí jazyk. Poté je podrobně představen vztah mezi učením se a osvojováním jazyka, tedy jejich podobnosti a rozdíly. Teoretická část příspěvku je zakončena přehledem literatury o dosavadních výzkumech, které se tímto tématem zabývaly. Druhou částí práce je výzkum založený na výsledcích dotazníkového šetření provedeného mezi chorvatskými studenty českého jazyka. Tato část příspěvku začíná představením metodologie výzkumu, nástroje výzkumu, vzorku, na kterém byl výzkum proveden, a postupu výzkumu. Následují výsledky jednotlivých částí anketního dotazníku. Výzkumná část práce končí interpretací získaných výsledků, následuje závěr a literatura.
