Abstract

U radu se analiziraju pitanja digitalne pohrane arhivskog gradiva kao i pitanja odabira formata i upravljanja arhivskim gradivom unutar arhivskih institucija i stvaratelja arhivskog gradiva. Također se istražuju što je važno da bi se osigurala dugoročna dostupnost, autentičnost i cjelovitost arhivskog gradiva. S obzirom da u današnje vrijeme tehnologije konstantno napreduju i mijenjaju se, uspoređuju se pojedine tehnologije, politike i strategije očuvanja i čuvanja digitalnog arhivskog gradiva. Cilj rada je definirati potrebu za digitalnim pohranom i upravljanjem arhivskim gradivom, identificirati probleme i prednosti te predstaviti strategije, tehnologije i sustave koji se koriste za pohranu digitalnog arhivskog gradiva.

Abstract (english)

This thesis analyzes issues of digital storage of archival material as well as issues of format selection and management of archival material within archival institutions and creators of archival materials. It also explore s what is important to ensure long-term availability, authenticity, and integrity of archival materials. Given that today's technologies are constantly advancing and changing, individual technologies, policies and strategies for preservation and preservation of digital archival materials are compared. The aim is to define the need for digital storage and management of archival materials, to identify problems and advantages, and to present strategies, technologies and systems used to store digital archival materials.
