Abstract

Informacijsko-komunikacijske tehnologije su postale sveprisutne u suvremenom društvu i važan su dio svakodnevnog života. U tom smislu, mogu imati pozitivan utjecaj na predškolsko obrazovanje i pripremiti djecu za budućnost koja će se sve više oslanjati na digitalne tehnologije. Cilj istraživanja je usmjeren na odgojitelje predškolske djece, kako bi se istražile njihove navike i kompetencije u korištenju informacijsko-komunikacijskih tehnologija te navike korištenja informacijsko-komunikacijskih tehnologija unutar dobnih skupina djece s kojima rade. Problem istraživanja bio je usmjeren na procjenu odgojitelja o zastupljenosti informacijsko-komunikacijskih tehnologija u vrtićima, kao i procjenu vlastitih kompetencija vezanih uz poznavanje, dostupnost i korištenje informacijsko-komunikacijskih tehnologija. Također, utvrđivala su se mišljenja i stavovi odgojitelja o pozitivnim i negativnim aspektima korištenja informacijsko-komunikacijskih tehnologija kod djece rane i predškolske dobi. Information and communication technologies have become all-present in modern society and are an important part of everyday life. In this sense, they can have a positive impact on preschool education and prepare children for a future that will increasingly rely on digital technologies. The goal of the research is focused on educators of preschool children, in order to investigate their habits and competences in the use of information and communication technologies and the habits of using information and communication technologies within the age groups of the children they work with. The research problem was focused on the educators' assessment of the presence of information and communication technologies in kindergartens, as well as the assessment of their own competencies related to knowledge, availability and use of information and communication technologies. Also, teachers' opinions and attitudes about the positive and negative aspects of the use of information and communication technologies among early and preschool age children were determined.
