Abstract

Stripovi, kao primjer zasebnog medija ili takozvane „devete umjetnosti“, predstavljaju relevantni kulturni i društveni fenomen s uzlaznom putanjom razvoja s obzirom na postepenu promjenu tematike, formata i obujma novijih izdanja. S obzirom na značaj stripova u kontekstu umjetnosti, povijesti i društva na području Hrvatske, vrijedan su doprinos našoj kulturi. More njegova razvoja u zadnjih dvadesetak godina kroz pregled najznačajnijih hrvatskih izdanja domaćih crtača, te najvažnijih izdavača stripova koji su prisutni na današnjoj kulturnoj sceni. Osim teorijskih poglavlja u vezi same prirode stripa, dostupnosti i problematike koja se uz njega veže te pregleda njegova razvoja, u sklopu ovog rada provedeni su intervjui s voditeljicama nabave dviju knjižnica KGZ-a, sudjelovalo se na jednoj izložbi posvećenoj stripovima unazad zadnjih 20 godina te je provedeno istraživanje u četvero Knjižnica Grada Zagreba. Abstract (english)

Comic books, a specific type of medium or so-called “the Ninth Art”, represent a relevant and social phenomenon on the rise if one takes into account its gradual change of topics, formats and volumes of recent editions at the turn of the century. Considering their artistic, historical and social importance in Croatia, comic books are of great importance for the Croatian culture. More the most prominent comic book publishers that are present both on our comic book scene and abroad, while focusing on the last twenty years and bearing in mind their importance in the context of Croatia in the last century.
