Abstract

Diese Diplomarbeit befasst sich mit dem Roman Ferdinand von Schirachs „Der Fall Collini“ und mit seiner gleichnamigen filmischen Adaption von Marco Kreuzpaintner. Während im Roman ein Narrator die Situationen und die Gefühle der Figuren beschreibt, haben in der Verfilmung die Gestikulation, die Gesichtsausdrücke, die Betonung der Wörter, Bilder, Szenen und Musik diese Aufgabe übernommen. In der Verfilmung sind vier Zeitebenen vorhanden. Im Roman gibt es im Unterschied zum Film eine weitere Zeitebene.
Die Verfilmung orientiert sich stark an die Literatur. Doch der Roman und die filmische Adaption sind zwei autonome künstlerische Werke. Die Verfilmung kann man wie eine Art Werbung für Literatur betrachten.

Abstract (english)

This thesis deals with Ferdinand von Schirachs novel „Der Fall Collini” and with his film adaptation of the same name by Marco Kreuzpaintner. While in the novel a narrator describes the situations and feelings of the characters, in the film it is the gestures, facial expressions, emphasis on words, images, scenes and music that have taken on this task. There are four timelines in the film. In contrast to the film, there is another timeline in the novel. The film adaptation is strongly based on literature. But the novel and the film adaptation are two autonomous artistic works.
