Abstract

Učinci pandemije koronavirusa na društveni život studenata neminovni su. Mjere zabrane okupljanja, ograničenje broja ljudi u menzi kao i zabrane održavanja događaja unutar studentskog doma unijele su promjene u dotadašnje interakcijske ritualne lance. U tom smislu glavni cilj ovog rada bio je ispitati i analizirati kako je smanjenje socijalnih interakcija tijekom pandemije koronavirusa utjecalo na osjećaj zajedništva kod studenata odabranih studentskih domova u Zagrebu te ispitati razlike u percepciji učinkovitosti mjera zatvaranja ugostiteljskih objekata i ograničavanja okupljanja s obzirom na spol ispitanika. U prikupljanju podataka korištena je metoda anketiranja. U anketi su sudjelovali studenti iz četiriju odabranih studentskih domova u Zagrebu. Iskazi sudionika istraživanja ukazuju na to da je osjećaj zajedništva i solidarnosti bio pojačan u kriznim situacijama, iako su zbog uvedenih epidemioloških mjera bile smanjene socijalne interakcije u odnosu na uobičajenu situaciju. Statističkom analizom podataka nije pronađen utjecaj smanjenih socijalnih interakcija na osjećaj zajedništva. Mjere uvedene u studentske domove studenti su uglavnom percipirali kao neučinkovite. Suprotno prethodnim istraživanjima, nije pronađena razlika u percepciji s obzirom na spol ispitanika.

Abstract (english)

Effects on coronavirus on society are inevitable. Coronavirus measures like forbidding public gatherings, restrictions on numbers of students in student canteen so as restriction of hosting public events inside University campuses have brought numerous changes in usual interactional ritual chains. The main goal of this graduation thesis is to inquire and analyse on which way does the reduction of social interactions during coronavirus had effect on sense of community among students of certain University campuses in Zagreb, so as inquire the differences in perception of efficiency measures, such as closing the service industry businesses and restrictions of gathering considering the sex of interviewee. Method of surveying is used during the research. Interviewees were students from four chosen University campuses in Zagreb. Statements of interviewees are showing that the sense of community and solidarity were expressed during predicament times, in spite of reduced social interactions during epidemiological measures. Results of statistical analysis doesn't show that reduced social interaction has any effect on the sense of community. Measures brought into University campuses were seen as inefficient, and contrary to the previous research there aren't any differences in perception considering sex of the interviewees.
