Abstract

Digitale Medien und soziale Netzwerke spielen eine wichtige Rolle im Leben der Jugendlichen. In den letzten Jahren nutzen Jugendliche immer häufiger Videoplattformen, über die sie sich Videos ansehen oder eigene Videos erstellen und veröffentlichen können. Der Gegenstand dieser Diplomarbeit ist der Einsatz von authentischen YouTube-Videos im DaF-Unterricht. Der erste Teil dieser Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit der Terminologie zum Thema Medienpädagogik. wird die durchgeführte Aktionsforschung präsentiert, die sich mit der praktischen Umsetzung von authentischen YouTube-Videos im DaF-Unterricht beschäftigt. Dazu wurden zwei Unterrichtsstunden in einer Grundschule in Zagreb durchgeführt. Als Datenerhebungsinstrumente wurden eine gezielte Unterrichtsbeobachtung, eine Kontrollübung und ein Evaluationsbogen verwendet. Die Aktionsforschungsergebnisse zeigten, dass authentische YouTube-Videos im DaF-Unterricht einen positiven Einfluss auf das Sprachenlernen haben, wobei sie das Interesse und die Motivation der Lernenden steigern. Abstract (english)

Digital media and social networks play an important role in young people’s lives. Recent years
have shown an increase in the use of video platforms on which young people can watch videos
or create and publish their own video content. The subject of this paper is the use of authentic
YouTube videos in German as a foreign language classes. The first chapter of this paper deals
with the terminology of media education. The second part defines YouTube and authentic
YouTube videos,... More as well as describes contemporary students as digital natives. The third
chapter presents the action research that was carried out. The research deals with the practical
implementation of authentic YouTube videos in German language classes. As part of research,
two lessons in a primary school in Zagreb were conducted. The research was carried out with
the help of a targeted classroom observation, an exam paper and an evaluation sheet. The results
of the action research show that authentic YouTube videos in German language lessons have a
positive influence on language learning, increasing learners’ interest and motivation. Less
