Abstract

U radu je definirana i opisana poslovna inteligencija, te je prikazana njena važnost, potreba i uloga u svakodnevnom poslovanju. Opisani su alati koji se koriste u okruženju poslovne inteligencije, a poseban fokus je na Microsoft alatima koji su danas najšire dostupni i izrazito razvijeni. Analiziran je način na koji alati funkcioniraju, prikazan je pregled njihovih mogućnosti i karakteristika. Glavni cilj rada je prikazati nužnost vizualizacije podataka koja se može napraviti i organizirati na različite načine kako bi podaci bili upotrebljivi korisnicima. Zbog toga je poseban naglasak stavljen na Microsoftov Power BI alat i njegovu djelotvornost u modernom poslovanju.

Abstract (english)

In this paperwork the term of business intelligence is defined, also it’s importance, need and role in everyday business is showed. The tools which are used in business intelligence environment are described, and the focus is on Microsoft tools which are today widely available as well as extremely developed. Furthermore, the way that the tools are functioning are analyzed and the review of their possibilities and characteristics have been showed. The main aim od this paperwork is to show the necessity of data visualization which can be made and organized on multiple ways to make the data effective for users. Because of it, the main accent is on the Microsoft Power BI tool and it's efficiently in modern business.
