Abstract

Tema završnog rada je pregled održavanja manifestacije „Noć knjige“ 23. travnja 2020. godine. Tema manifestacije 2020. godine bila je „Knjige koje su promijenile svijet“. S obzirom na prelazak svih aspekata života na „online“ način, i ova se manifestacija morala tome prilagoditi pa je prošle godine održana u digitalnom obliku. Zanimljivo je proučavati kako se koja knjižnica prilagodila novonastaloj situaciji i zainteresirala korisnike za događaj iz vlastitih domova. Rad se prvenstveno bazira na narodnim knjižnicama, materijalima koje su nudile korisnicima, na koje načine je održana manifestacija te radionice, kvizove i slična zbivanja koja su nudila svojim korisnicima. Literatura će se primarno bazirati na internetskim stranicama samih narodnih knjižnica koje su se prijavile za „Noć knjige“ i aktivno sudjelovale u obilježavanju ovog najvažnijeg knjižničnog događaja u godini. Također prezentira na koji način je obilježen Svjetski dan knjige i autorskih prava te Dan hrvatske knjige koji su se obilježili istog datuma kako bi se potaknulo čitanje u suvremenom društvu. Rad se osvrće i na ostale načine obilježavanje ovog događaja te na koji način je bilo prilagođeno novom načinu organiziranja. Rad iznosi podatke o tome koliko je više ili manje knjižnica sudjelovalo u novom obliku održavanja.

Abstract (english)

This end paper focuses on the review of the “Book Night” event held on April 23, 2020. The theme of the 2020 event was “Books that changed the world”. Given the transition of all aspects of life to the “online” model, this event also had to adapt to this, and was held in digital form. It is interesting to see how each library adapted to this new situation and got users interested in the event from the comfort of their own homes. The paper is primarily focused on public libraries, the materials they offered to users, the way the event was held, the workshops, quizzes, and similar events they offered their users. The literature is primarily based on the websites of the public libraries which applied for “Book Night” and actively participated in the celebration of this most important library event of the year. It also presents the way libraries celebrated World Book and Copyright Day, as well as The Day of the Croatian Book, which were commemorated on the same date to encourage reading in contemporary society. The paper deals with other methods of marking this event, and how it was adapted to the new organization tactics. The paper shows data on the higher or lower number of libraries that participated in this new way of holding the event.
