Abstract

Ovaj završni rad prikazuje sustav fonema švedskog jezika. Unutar rada primarno se koristi sustav fonema te znakovi dodijeljeni švedskim fonemima prema knjizi Handbook of the International Phonetic Association (IPA). Prema navedenoj literaturi, švedski jezik sadrži 18 vokala te 18 konsonanata koji se razlikuju ovisno o mjestu i načinu artikulacije, te fonaciji. Objašnjena su različita mjesta i načini artikulacije koja nalazimo u švedskom jeziku te su detaljnije pojašnjene specifičnije pojave u švedskom jeziku, kao što su dvije vrste zaokruženih vokala, retrofleksni konsonanti, konsonant /ɧ/ i slično. Nadalje, u radu se isti fonemi također akustički analiziraju te prikazuju putem spektrograma izrađenih u programu za analizu govora Praat. Za izradu spektrograma korišteni su audio zapisi iz Handbooka. Opisane su najvažnije akustičke karakteristike vrsta fonema koje se javljaju u švedskom jeziku te su iste vidljive na spektrogramima.

Abstract (english)

This bachelor thesis shows the Swedish phonemic system. The thesis primarily uses the phonemic system and characters assigned to the Swedish language according to the Handbook of the International Phonetic Association (IPA). According to the literature, the Swedish language contains 18 vowels and 18 consonants that differ depending on the place and manner of articulation, and phonation. The different places and manners of articulation that can be found in Swedish are explained, as well as some more specific occurrences in the Swedish language such as two types of rounded vowels, retroflex consonants, consonant /ɧ/, etc. Furthermore, the same phonemes are also acoustically analyzed and presented through spectrograms developed in the speech analysis program Praat. Audio recordings from the Handbook were used to create the spectrograms. The paper also describes the most important acoustic characteristics of the types of phonemes that occur in the Swedish language, which are visible on the spectrograms.
