Abstract

U ovom diplomskom radu napravljena je analiza instrumentalnih istraživačkih metoda na primjeru međunarodnih kongresa u fonetskim znanostima prema određenim kriterijima: međunarodni, dugotrajni, kontinuirani u izvođenju te se koriste instrumentalnim istraživačkim metodama. Analizirane metode odabrane su po principu ispitivanja fiziologije govora te su, u skladu s literaturom, podijeljene na akustičku metodu, metodu vizualnog prikaza (rendgen, ultrazvuk), praćenja pomaka točaka (elektromagnetska artikulografija, Optotrak), jezično-nepčane interakcije (elektropalatografija), te metodu mjerenja mišićne aktivnosti (elektromiografija). Ukratko je opisan povijesni razvoj navedenih metoda te je svaka od njih razrađena kroz tehnike kojima se koriste. Analizirane su sljedeće konferencije: Međunarodni kongres fonetskih znanosti u periodu od zadnjih deset godina, konferencija na temu motoričke kontrole govora u periodu od zadnjih trinaest godina te kongres Međunarodne asocijacije kliničke fonetike i lingvistike u periodu od zadnjih dvanaest godina. Analizirana su ukupno 1634 znanstvena rada s više od 4500 stranica teksta. Analiza je kvantitativno pokazala najveću zastupljenost akustičke metode u istraživanjima, koju redom slijede metoda vizualnog prikaza, metoda praćenja točaka te metode jezično-nepčane interakcije i mišićne aktivnosti u vrlo malom postotku.

Abstract (english)

In this thesis, an analysis was made of instrumental experimental methods used in international congresses of phonetic sciences on predetermined criteria: international participation, longevity and consisting of papers using instrumental techniques. Only physiological techniques were taken into account divided into well-established sub-groups: acoustic method, method of visual representation (X-ray, CT, MRI and ultrasound), flesh-point tracking method (electromagnetic articulography), tongue-palate interaction (electro/palatography) and method of muscle activity measurements (electromyography). Their historical development was briefly explained and every method was elaborated in the context of its current use. The following conferences were are International Congress of Phonetic sciences in a period of the last ten years, conference on Speech motor control in a period of the last thirteen years and ultimately conferences organized by International clinical phonetics and linguistics association in a period of the last twelve years. In total, around 1600 scientific papers and abstracts were examined, covering on over 4500 pages of text. Quantitative analysis showed a large predominance of acoustic method, followed by method of visual representation and flesh-point tracking with tongue-palate interaction method and muscle activity measurements in the smallest percentage.
