Abstract

Rad objašnjava kako se Egipatska zbirka Arheološkog muzeja u Zagrebu može uklopiti u edukacijske programe za osnovnoškolce. Analizira sve programe kroz povijest koji uključuju Egipatsku zbirku pa tako i one koji su pomogli u razvoju edukacijskih aktivnosti Arheološkog muzeja u Zagrebu. Predstavljena je ideja i za novi edukacijski program, kojem je naglasak na prikazima životinja na artefaktima Arheološkog muzeja u Zagrebu. Objašnjena je i važnost životinja u Egiptu te su popisani njihovi prikazi u Egipatskoj zbirci. Novi program je baziran na zaključku da trenutni programi imaju prostora za napredak i da im treba osvježenje koje bi na inovativan način proširilo ponudu Muzeja. Kroz program se ističe da bi djeca trebala više učiti kroz iskustvo, nego kroz nepotrebne činjenice navedene u knjigama. Tako program uključuje analizu fotografija životinja za vrijeme školskog sata, posjet Arheološkom muzeju u Zagrebu, Zoološkom vrtu Zagreb, različite zadatke na tim lokacijama te domaću zadaću. Za konstruiranje rada i formiranje ideje za program korištena je znanstvena literatura, uključujući literaturu o edukacijskim programima, muzejskim publikacijama, programima vezanima uz Egipatsku zbirku Arheološkog muzeja u Zagrebu te literaturu o životinjama u drevnom Egiptu. To je omogućilo razradu teme na adekvatan način i analizu svih proteklih i aktualnih edukacijskih programa koji su važni za ideju stvaranja novog. Glavna ideja rada i programa je ujedinjenje prošlosti, sadašnjosti i budućnosti, što je razlog zašto bi se program mogao uklopiti u školski program i ponudu edukacijskih aktivnosti za osnovnoškolce u Arheološkom muzeju u Zagrebu. Glavni cilj je omogućiti djeci da uče na zabavan i originalan način, ali da istovremeno nauče gledati na povijest iz drugačije perspektive i osloniti se na iskustvo u formiranju vlastitih zaključaka. Također, važno je da učenici shvate i osvijeste važnost muzejske baštine kako bi ju pomoću toga prihvatili kao jedan od važnijih dijelova njihovog životnog obrazovanja.

Abstract (english)

The thesis explains how the Egyptian collection of the Archaeological Museum in Zagreb can be implemented in the educational programmes for elementary school kids. It analyses all the past educational programmes which include the Egyptian collection, including the ones which helped the development of the Archaeological Museum in Zagreb educational activities. It also provides an idea for the new educational programme, which would focus on animals represented on the Archaeological Museum in Zagreb artefacts. Furthermore, significance of animals in Ancient Egpyt is explained too, along with the list of their representations in the Egyptian collection of the Museum. It is based on the conclusion that current programmes need to be refreshed and that the offer of the Museum could use a little bit of inovation. Therefore, the programme indicates that children should learn from the experience rather than from the books that are full of useless dana. It includes analysing pictures of animals in class, visiting the Archaeological Musem in Zagreb and Zoo Zagreb, different tasks at these sites and homework.The scientific literature was consulted to create the idea for the programme, including literature that considers educational programmes, museum publications, programmes related to the Egyptian collection of the Archaeological Museum in Zagreb and animals in Ancient Egypt. It provided the possibillities to construct the thesis in an adequate way and to take into the account all the relevant educational programmes which could help in the creation of a new one. The idea is formed with uniting past, present and the future, which is why it could fit well in the school programme and the educational offer for schoolkids in the Archaeological Museum in Zagreb. The main goal is to enable kids to learn in a fun and original way, but also to teach them to look at the history from a different perspective and lean on experience in making their own conclusions. Also, it is important that the kids learn to understand the significance of the museum heritage so it would help them embrace that as the essential part of their life education.
