Abstract

Diplomski rad "Slušna procjena i timbralne osobine folklornoga pjevanja Ladarica" sastoji se od teorijskog i praktičnog dijela. U teorijskom se dijelu najprije definiraju timbar i njegovi akustički korelati i prikazuju dosadašnja istraživanja hrvatskoga folklornog pjevanja. Nadalje je iznesena teorija pjevanja te je opisano hrvatsko folklorno pjevanje u izvornom obliku, ali i način pjevanja Ansambla narodnih plesova i pjesama Hrvatske Lado, koji spaja autentični zvuk s temeljima ispravnog pjevanja koje zahtijeva scena. Praktični dio rada odnosi se na istraživanje folklornog pjevanja Ladarica, članica ansambla Lado. Cilj istraživanja je slušno procijeniti folklorno pjevanje te analizirati i opisati timbralne karakteristike ženskog folklornog glasa, u svrhu utvrđivanja standarda hrvatskog folklornog pjevanja i ženskog folklornog glasa na profesionalnoj razini. Rezultati akustičke analize pokazuju sljedeće: fundamentalna frekvencija ženskog folklornog glasa u većini je slučajeva nešto viša od prosječne, glas ispitanica je zdrav, a ton periodičan i harmoničan, raspon folklornog glasa drugačiji je od očekivanog raspona registara, ali dovoljno velik za zahtjeve folklornih pjesama, glas ispitanica u folklornom pjevanju ima veliku širinu; odnosno karakterizira ga zvonkost i okruglost - a u nešto manjem intenzitetu i blistavost i većeg je intenziteta nego u pjevanju himne. Slušnom procjenom zaključuje se da je glas profesionalnih folklornih pjevačica prema parametrima procjene vrlo dobre kvalitete.

Abstract (english)

Master thesis "Listening evaluation and timbral characteristics of folklore singing of Ladarice" consists out of two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part defines timbre and its acoustic correlatives. Also, it depicts the existant research of croatian folklore singing while presenting the theory of singing in general. Lastly, it describes croatian folklore singing in its authentic version and the way Lado, the National folk dance ensemble of Croatia, sings. Lado combines authenticity with the rules of correct singing. The practical part presents research of folklore singing of Ladarice - women dancers and singers in Lado. The aim of the research was to evaluate the voice quality in singing of Ladarice while analysing and describing timbral characteristics of women folklore voices with a purpose to determine the standard on a professional level. The results of the acoustic analysis show the following: fundamental frequency of women folklore voices is higher than the average, voices of the subjects is healthy, the tone is periodical and harmonious, voice range of folklore voices differs from the standard frequency range of the voice types, voices of the subjects is characterised by large sonorousness, rotundity and brilliance, and the intensity is higher in folklore songs than in singing of the hymn. Listening evaluation has shown that the voice of a professional women folklore singer is of a high standard.
