Abstract

Tema ovog radu je pregled važnijih inozemnih platforma za online učenja. U radu su pregledane platforme EdX, Coursera, Udemy, Udacity, Skillshare, LinkeIn Learning i Khan Academy. Zbog potrebe za objedinjenjem i sistematiziranjem informacija o učestalosti korištenja i stavu prema MOOC platformama unutar studentske populacije Republike Hrvatske provedeno je istraživanje o učestalosti korištenja i stavu korisnika prema navedenim platformama. U ovom radu korišten je kvantitativan te kvalitativan pristup, dok je za metodu sakupljanja podataka odabrana anketna metoda u online verziji. Rezultati pokazuju da su studenti upoznati sa platformama navedenim u radu te ih koriste. Rezultate je moguće prihvatiti kao preliminarni uvid i temelje za buduća istraživanja gdje se MOOC platforme mogu prihvatiti kao komplement aktualnom kurikulumu.

Abstract (english)

The topic of this paper is an overview of major foreign platforms for online learning. The paper reviews the EdX, Coursera, Udemy, Udacity, Skillshare, LinkeIn Learning and Khan Academy platforms. Due to the need to consolidate and systematize information on the frequency of use and attitudes towards MOOC platforms within the student population of the Republic of Croatia, a survey was conducted on the frequency of use and attitudes of users towards these platforms. In this paper, a quantitative and qualitative approach was used, while the survey method in the online version was chosen for the data collection method. The results show that students are familiar with the platforms listed in the paper and use them. The results can be accepted as a preliminary insight and the basis for future research where MOOC platforms can be accepted as a complement to the current curriculum.
