Abstract

U radu su se opisali fenomeni lažnih vijesti i dezinformacija u kontekstu postčinjeničnog svijeta te implikacije koje isti imaju na individualnoj, društvenoj i političkoj razini. Predstavljeni su različiti koncepti informacijske pismenosti kako bi se prikazala nužnost informacijskog opismenjavanja korisnika u svjetlu sve veće proliferacije lažnih vijesti i dezinformacija. Provedeno je sekundarno istraživanje, točnije komparativna analiza sadržaja izvora o suzbijanju navedenih fenomena s ciljem utvrđivanja zajedničkih elemenata preporuka autora i organizacija relevantnih u ovome području. Na temelju istraživanja utvrđeni su dominantni pristupi suzbijanja lažnih vijesti i dezinformacija te je zaključeno da informacijski stručnjaci imaju ključnu ulogu u oblikovanju korisnika koji su sposobni kritički promišljati i samostalno zaključivati o informacijama kojima su izloženi.

Abstract (english)

The paper describes the phenomena of fake news and misinformation in the context of the post-factual world as well as the implications of said phenomena at the individual, societal and political level. Various concepts of information literacy are presented in order to demonstrate the necessity of information literacy for users considering the increasing proliferation of fake news and misinformation. A secondary research is conducted, more specifically a comparative analysis of the sources on suppression of these phenomena with the aim of identifying the common elements of the recommendations issued by relevant authors and organizations. Based on the research, dominant approaches to suppression of fake news and misinformation are determined and it is concluded that information specialist play a key role in shaping users who are able to think critically and make independent conclusions about the information they are exposed to.
