Abstract

Tema ovog međuodsječkog diplomskoga rada je uloga brojalica u ranom razvoju govora sve djece, a posebno u rehabilitaciji djece sa slušnim i jezično-govornim poteškoćama. Poznato je da su brojalice često korišteno sredstvo u rehabilitaciji zbog ritma koji njima dominira, a ritam je prvi zvučni doživljaj svakoga djeteta. Osim ritma i eufoničnosti, imaju i strukturu koja se lako percipira i pamti, a dolaze iz usmene kulture što znači da imaju pravu vezu s prirodnim govorom, a i prirodno se koriste uz pokret. Zbog svoje melodioznosti i jedinstva zvuka i pokreta, prisutne su od samih početaka i u razvoju govora i u rehabilitaciji i taj su kontinuitet zadržale sve do danas. Cilj je ovoga preglednoga rada pokazati kontinuitet, značajke i različite uporabe brojalica u rehabilitaciji. Analiza je provedena na temelju folklorističkih i rehabilitatorskih istraživanja i sakupljenog korpusa brojalica. Analizira se veza tih dosadašnjih rezultata istraživanja i utvrđuje važnost promatranja brojalica u kontekstu i sinteza tih dviju perspektiva.

Abstract (english)

The topic of this interdisciplinary thesis is the role of nursery rhymes in the early speech development of all children, with a particular focus on the rehabilitation of children with auditory and speech-language impairments. It is well-known that nursery rhymes are frequently used in rehabilitation due to the rhythm that dominates them, as rhythm is the first auditory experience of every child. Besides rhythm and euphony, nursery rhymes possess a structure that is easily perceived and memorized, originating from oral traditions, which means they have a genuine connection to natural speech and are naturally accompanied by movement. Due to their melodiousness and the unity of sound and movement, they have been present from the very beginnings of speech development and rehabilitation, maintaining this continuity to the present day. The aim of this review paper is to demonstrate the continuity, characteristics, and various uses of nursery rhymes in rehabilitation. The analysis is based on folkloristic and rehabilitative research as well as a collected corpus of nursery rhymes. The paper examines the connection between previous research results and emphasizes the importance of considering nursery rhymes in the context of synthesizing these two perspectives.
