Ovaj je diplomski rad pregled opusa grafičkog dizajnera Dejana Dragosavca Rute. Rad se sastoji od predstavljanja dizajnerskog opusa Dejana Dragosavca Rute od rada za magazine i časopise preko rada za klijente s područja nezavisne kulturne scene. Rad započinje analizom magazina i časopisa 1990-ih, u čijem je okružju Dejan Dragosavac Ruta započeo svoju karijeru. Abstract (english)

This master thesis focuses on the work of the Croatian graphic designer Dejan
Dragosavac Ruta. He started his career in the liberal environment of the Arkzin magazine,
which marked the foundation of his career. He also collaborated and learned from other
artists from the independent cultural scene, such as Dejan Kršić. The radical content of Arkzin
requiured a radical design style, so Ruta used some elements of deconstructivism in his work
for Arkzin. At the beginning of his career, he... More mainly worked for magazines that represented
the independent cultural scene, but he occasionally collaborated with other clients. For
example, he redesigned the catholic magazine Glas koncila and the mainstream newspaper
Slobodna Dalmacija. He also designed books for publishing companies such as Prosvjeta,
Oceanmore, British Council, and others. Over time, the deconstructivist elements of his
design started to fade, and he started designing playful, but readable graphic forms. In the late
2000s, magazines and journals started being less prominent, so he moved on to collaborating
with organizations focused on independent cultural practices, primarily Multimedijalni
institut and Kontejner – bureau of contemporary art practice. As of today, Ruta has a
company for graphic design and mostly collaborates with Multimedijalni institut, as well as
