Abstract

Cilj ovoga diplomskoga rada bio je istražiti kojim vrstama i kategorijama riječi ovladavaju strani učenici hrvatskoga te kojima od njih ovladavaju brže i lakše, a kojima sporije i teže. U radu je analiziran opseg i svojstva rječnika početnika koji uče hrvatski kao strani jezik na tromjesečnome e-tečaju. Analiza se temeljila na transkribiranoj građi razgovora između dvije učenice hrvatskoga i profesorice utemeljenoj na snimkama četiriju nastavnih sati koji su trajali oko sat vremena. Promatran je opseg rječnika te točnost i učestalost upotrebe riječi dviju učenica u različitim fazama jezičnoga razvoja, u 2. tjednu, 6. tjednu, 10. tjednu i posljednjemu, 12. tjednu nastave. Prvo je analizirana jezična proizvodnja svake učenice, posebno u spontanomu razgovoru, a posebno u vježbama. Nakon toga su uspoređeni rezultati spontanih razgovora i vježbi te su, na kraju, uspoređeni rezultati dviju učenica. Analizom se dobio uvid u način ovladavanja leksičkom razinom hrvatskoga kao stranoga jezika.

Abstract (english)

The aim of this thesis was to research which types and categories of words are mastered by foreign students of Croatian, as well as which of them are acquired more quickly and easily, and which are acquired more slowly and with more difficulty. The study analyzed the range and properties of the vocabulary of beginners learning Croatian as a foreign language in a three-month e-course. The analysis was based on transcribed material from conversations between two students of the Croatian language and a professor, derived from recordings of four sessions that lasted about one hour each. The vocabulary range, as well as the accuracy and frequency of the students' word usage at different stages of language development, was observed in the 2nd week, 6th week, 10th week, and the final, 12th week of class. First, the language production of each student was analyzed separately in spontaneous conversation and separately in exercises. After that, the results of the spontaneous conversations and exercises were compared, and finally, the results of the two students were compared. The analysis provided insight into the way vocabulary is mastered at the lexical level of Croatian as a foreign language.
